Advanced digital imaging methods applied by Professor Moshe Caine and Dr. Doron Altaratz of the Jerusalem Institute for Research and Digital Documentation of Cultural Heritage at Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem helped conceive and propose the reading of old cylinder seals at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
Two methods of photography were applied: total 3D photogrammetry and roll-out photography.
